Salt Lake City, UT
Project Value: $1.6 million
The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law building is a state-of-the art law school designed to enhance innovation in legal education, bolster community service and provide students with new opportunities for skills training. The building was designed to be a LEED platinum building and provides accessibility for people with a full range of disabilities.
TPI was hired to provide audiovisual technology for the entire facility. Working with Spectrum Engineers, we deployed seventeen mediated spaces that were supported with a building-wide public announcement / music system, system wide recording and archiving, and system wide monitoring and management.
The mediated spaces consisted of single display, dual display, and triple display classrooms, dual display courtroom auditoriums, seminar rooms, workshops, and a control room. The digital signal delivery method was audio and video over fiber.
